The robotic puppy is made for people with dementia and mild cognitive impairment living in private homes, assisted living facilities and memory care communities.  

Dr. John Showalter, Linus' chief product officer, discusses the company's cognitive impairment testing and care-delivery offerings for dementia diagnosis and treatment and its acquisition of speech analytics platform Aural Analytics.  

The company said it will use the funding to accelerate its go-to-market push.  

The research project will be conducted using the Apple Watch and iPhone, and is set to begin during 2021.

MindMaze said that it plans to continue development of NMI's gamified therapy for cognitive and motor capability impairment.
