The Polyphonic AI Fund for Surgery will invest in and provide mentorship to AI-enabled platforms aiming to advance surgical innovation.

The new collaboration would lead to a new surgical-monitoring dashboard. 

Digital and remote clinical trial designs have plenty to offer in terms of cost and efficiency, but data handling and other concerns suggest there's still work to be done, according to experts at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions 2019 in Philadelphia.

The collaboration will investigate heart health outcomes and medication adherence among seniors, and is scheduled to begin in 2019.
