The Health RADAR, developed by Cambridge-based Nanosym Diagnostics, can detect any disease with a genetic fingerprint from a single drop of blood or saliva within an hour. And it can be done without a lab, trained specialists, electricity or running water.

The Center for Internet Security wants to develop a set of guidelines, endorsed by device makers and healthcare providers, to ensure that medical devices like pacemakers and insulin pumps can't be hacked or compromised.
